4. Data processing when visiting websites

When someone visits a website, (personal) data is automatically transmitted via the Internet. From a technological perspective, this is necessary for the functionalities of the website visit and to provide the best possible results. 

Every time someone visits a website, an image is retrieved from a server, an external plugin (or script) is loaded or a video is streamed or any of the many transmission options is used, your computer will send data to the server which you are visiting. When visiting a website, your browser (such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge, Opera, Safari) will automatically send specific information about your system. Such data may include:

  • • Websites from which the website or file (image, script, video) was retrieved or in which the file integrated (referrer)
  • • Operating system
  • • Screen resolution
  • • Keyboard layout (language)
  • • IP address from which the website or file was accessed
  • • Name of the accessed website or file
  • • Time stamp (date and time) of access
  • • Browser name and version
  • • Transmitted data volume
  • • Access status (file transferred, error code)


This data is logged by each server. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Data is logged for

  • • maintaining and reviewing IP security (for example to detect hacker attacks).
  • • statistical analysis (about the use of the website).
  • • website improvement.
  • • customized output of website or files so that they are/can be optimized on your end device.

No pseudonymization or anonymization is used for security logs as any conclusion about potential attackers would be impossible. The processing of the data for other purposes is anonymous, no profiles are built. Further information included in this data protection declaration.

We have waived the use of cookies on our website.

6. Website encryption

In order to protect your data from unwanted access as comprehensively as possible, we take technical and organizational measures. We use an encryption process on our websites. Your details are transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using TLS encryption. You can usually recognize this by the closed lock symbol in the status bar of your browser and the address line beginning with .

7. Forms

Data minimization is a goal of the GDPR. In order to meet this goal and your data have the greatest possible protection, we have dispensed with forms (e.g. contact form, application form, newsletter form). You can contact us via other channels (e.g. telephone, email).

9. Your rights as a data subject

When processing your personal data, the GDPR grants you, as the data subject, certain rights:


Right to information (Article 15 GDPR)

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you are being processed; if this is the case, you have a right to information about this personal data and to the information listed in detail in Art. 15 GDPR.


Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)
You have the right to immediately request the correction of incorrect personal data concerning you and, if necessary, the completion of incomplete data.


Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

You have the right to demand that personal data concerning you be deleted immediately if one of the reasons listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies.


Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)

You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR is met, e.g. B. if you have lodged an objection to the processing, for the duration of the examination by the person responsible.


Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

In certain cases, which are listed in detail in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transmission of this data to a third party.

Right of withdrawal (Article 7 GDPR)
If data is processed on the basis of your consent, you are entitled under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Please note that the revocation only applies to the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data is processed on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f GDPR (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests) or on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter e GDPR (data processing to safeguard the public interest or in exercise of public authority), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons that arise from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right of appeal to a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR)
In accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection regulations. The right of appeal can be asserted in particular with a supervisory authority in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
